Blog - Getting street legal with a WD Electronics Street Legal Kit - Part 5
Before my trip to Moab, I had to get my machine street legal so I could drive to and from all the trails. My go-to has been WD Electronics for the last few years. I like their kits because they are complete with lighted license plate brackets and the horn, they are plug and play, and they also have complete headlight replacement kits with integrated turn signals in the lights so you don't have to drill holes for any cheesy blinkers. The instructions are great and color printed. There are a few little things that are open to interpretation that I took...
Blog - Diff repair and upgrade, Ball Joint upgrades and Prop Shaft upgrades - Part 4
On our last ride of 2023, I stopped mid-way up a long moderate hill climb to wait on my buddies to catch up. I went to start back up the hill but couldn't help notice that I no longer had AWD. The back tires were spinning but the fronts were not and I wasn't going anywhere. Sound familiar to anyone? This was about the 3rd or 4th time this had happened since the AWD problems started on a ride at Holy Cross last summer. In the past, I had always been able to get it to go in AWD by...

Blog - Full set of UHMW Factory UTV Skid plates go on our Turbo R - Part 3
If you haven't figured it out yet, the skid plates on all RZR models that are included from the Polaris factory are pretty weak and the coverage is minimal. The plastic material they are made of is thin and they leave your RZR vulnerable, especially if you like to Rock Crawl. There's also zero protection for the a-arms, trailing arms or rockers. I installed A-arm skids plates last year on our Turbo R but I had been putting the full skid plate project off. A few weeks ago, our riding buddy Todd experienced an unfortunate event up by Red Cone in...
Blog - Mods and upgrades on the RZR Turbo R Part 2
Welcome to round two of mods on our RZR Turbo R build. Prior to the arrival of the machine, we had already ordered a set of custom PRP GT3 seats that had arrived several weeks in advance of the machine. If you've never had aftermarket seats, there's one thing you should know that you just can't appreciate until you have them. Yes they are more comfortable to sit it, but the biggest benefit, in my opinion, is how you feel at the end of the day after a long ride. You just don't feel nearly as beat-up as you would...
